No-Spa Forte is an antispasmodic drug used to treat smooth muscle spasms associated with various conditions.
The active substance is drotaverine hydrochloride, which has a strong antispasmodic effect.
Important! This medicine is intended only for adults and is not given to children and adolescents due to the large amount of active substance.
Forms of release
No-Spa Forte is available as tablets containing 80 mg of drotaverine hydrochloride. The package contains 24 tablets.

Active substance: drotaverine hydrochloride 80 mg per tablet.
Other components: magnesium stearate, talc, povidone K 25, corn starch, lactose monohydrate.

The usual dose for adults is 1-3 tablets per day, divided into 2-3 doses. The tablets should be swallowed with a sufficient amount of water.
Important! Do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting a doctor.
Contraindications
No-Spa Forte is not recommended in the following cases:
Allergy to drotaverine hydrochloride or to any of the components of the drug;
Severe liver, kidney or heart failure;
Use in children and adolescents;
Patients with porphyria (rare metabolic disease).
Particularities of use
No-Spa Forte can interact with other drugs, especially levodopa, reducing the antiparkinsonian effect. Consult your doctor before co-administration with other drugs.
Also, pregnant and lactating women should talk to their doctor before using No-Spa Forte.
Side effects
No-Spa Forte can cause the following side effects:
Headaches;
Nausea;
Palpitations;
Insomnia;
Allergic reactions (swelling of the lips, face, skin rashes).
If serious side effects occur, discontinue use and consult a physician.
Interactions with other drugs and foods
No-Spa Forte can interact with levodopa, causing its effect to decrease. If you use other medicines, inform your doctor or pharmacist before starting treatment with No-Spa Forte.
overdose
Overdosing on No-Spa Forte can cause serious heart problems (eg arrhythmias or cardiac arrest), which can be fatal. In case of overdose, seek medical help immediately.
Storage conditions
Store No-Spa Forte in a dry place at temperatures up to 25°C, out of the reach of children.
