High Gelling Fiber Hyalo4 dressing, 10x10 cm, 10 pieces, Fidia Farmaceutici

Properties:
- is a high-performance, sterile dressing, made of carboxymethylcellulose fibers and calcium alginate G, with a reinforcement layer that prevents the dressing from fragmenting in the wound;
- the dressing is soft, very absorbent, with a high degree of gelation and adaptable to the shape of the wound;
- in contact with wound secretions, it turns into gel, helping to remove non-viable tissue from the wound and supporting the healing process;
- it is indicated for acute or chronic wounds with moderate or abundant secretions, such as: bedsores, venous or arterial ulcers in the legs, diabetic ulcers, grafts, traumatic wounds, postoperative wounds, burns, penetrating wounds;
- does not contain latex;
- can be used under a compression bandage.

Way of ussage:
Preparing the area and applying the dressing:
1. If necessary, clean and wash the wound.
2. Remove excess solution from surrounding skin.
3. Choose a HYALO4 high performance dressing that is slightly larger than the wound.
4. If necessary, cut the dressing (using sterile scissors) to the appropriate size for the wound. Apply directly to the bottom of the wound.
5. All remaining dressing materials should be discarded taking into account the risk of contamination.
6. Deep wounds should not be dressed very tightly, and the dressing should not go beyond the edges of the wound.
7. Cover and secure the dressing with a secondary non-occlusive or semi-occlusive dressing, eg Hyalo4 Non-Adhesive Foam dressing.

Changing and removing the dressing:
1. The dressing can remain in place for up to 7 days. The frequency of dressing changes will depend on the patient's condition and the amount of secretions. The dressing will be changed when the secondary dressing has reached its absorbent capacity.
2. Carefully remove the secondary dressing.
3. If the wound appears dry, moisten the dressing thoroughly with sterile saline before removal.
4. Gently remove the dressing from the wound and dispose of it taking into account the risk of contamination.
5. If necessary, wash the wound area with an appropriate wound cleanser before applying a new dressing.

Ingredients:
Carboxymethylcellulose and calcium alginate G.

Precautions:
Do not use on dry or poorly exuding wounds, as the dressing may stick to the wound.
Do not reuse in whole or in part, as it may compromise the sterility and/or performance of the dressing.
Hyalo4 High Gelling Fiber High Performance Dressing should not be ingested and should be kept out of the reach of children and animals.
To be used under the guidance of a medical professional.
Do not use the dressing for patients with known sensitivity to carboxymethylcellulose, alginates or nylon.
Keep dry, at a temperature below 25℃.
