ASPIRIN PLUS C FORTE contains acetylsalicylic acid, which relieves pain and reduces fever, and ascorbic acid, also known as vitamin C.

It is used for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain, such as headaches, toothaches, menstrual pain and for the symptomatic treatment of pain and fever in colds and flu.

Active ingredients:

Each effervescent tablet contains acetylsalicylic acid 800 mg, ascorbic acid (vitamin C) 480 mg.

How to use:

• Oral administration
• The effervescent tablets are dissolved in a glass of water before administration
• The effervescent tablets should not be taken on an empty stomach to avoid stomach irritation
• For adults, the single dose is 1 effervescent tablet, which can be repeated after 4-8 hours, if necessary, without exceeding the maximum daily dose of 3 effervescent tablets
• For adolescents aged 12 years and over, the lowest effective dose should be used, which depends on the adolescent's weight. This medicine should only be used in adolescents weighing more than 53 kg. The reference age is for informational purposes only. If applicable, the recommended single dose is 1 effervescent tablet (800mg acetylsalicylic acid/480mg ascorbic acid). Total daily dose should not exceed 3 effervescent tablets
• For patients aged 65 years and over and patients with low body weight, the lowest effective dose should be used
• Reducing the dose or extending the dosing intervals is recommended in patients with hepatic or renal insufficiency, or blood circulation problems
• Do not take this medicine for more than 3 days for fever or 3-4 days for pain, unless your doctor recommends it. This medicine is administered according to the package leaflet and as recommended by your doctor and pharmacist.

Precautions:

Do not use ASPIRIN PLUS C FORTE if:

• you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid, ascorbic acid, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), which are medicines used to treat pain, fever, or inflammation
• you have an excess of mast cells (pre-existing mastocytosis)
• you have a history of bronchial asthma induced by the administration of acetylsalicylic acid or substances with a similar action, especially non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
• you have a stomach or duodenal ulcer
• you have bleeding or are at risk bleeding (hemorrhagic diathesis)
• if you have severe liver failure
• if you have severe kidney failure
• if you have severe, decompensated heart failure.

Consult your doctor before use:

• if you are taking other medicines containing acetylsalicylic acid
• if you regularly take painkillers
• if you have a history of ulcers or bleeding in the stomach or intestines, or inflammation of the stomach lining (gastritis)
• if you have liver, kidney, heart or circulatory problems
• if you have bronchial asthma, various allergic reactions or if you are about to have surgery.

Not recommended for people under 12 years of age.

Do not take this medicine in the last trimester of pregnancy (after the 24th week of pregnancy). In the first and second trimester of pregnancy (during the first 24 weeks) you should ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine.

Treatment with ASPIRIN PLUS C FORTE is not recommended during breast-feeding, as it passes into breast milk.

This medicine contains 20.61 mmol (or 473.72 mg) sodium per dose.
