Description
Swanson Multiomega 3-6-9 is a dietary supplement in the form of capsules containing 3 oils: borage, fish and linseed. Omega acids are unsaturated fatty acids that our body cannot produce on its own, so they must be supplied with food. Their sources include marine fish and vegetable oils, among others. The fish oil contained in the product is oil from anchovies and sardines.
What properties do omega acids have?
Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) contributes to the maintenance of good brain function and plays a role in maintaining correct vision. The beneficial effect occurs when 250 mg of DHA is consumed per day.
Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) contribute to the proper functioning of the heart, and their beneficial effects occur when 250 mg of EPA and DHA are consumed per day.
