* A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study of 33 healthy/clinically healthy men compared the efficacy of this proprietary whey protein and leucine product to an isocaloric carbohydrate-placebo mixture consumed before and after resistance training. The subjects who consumed the protein supplement from whey + leucine, showed increases in muscle strength, unlike the placebo group.
