Indications :
Biofen gel contains ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory that reduces inflammation and pain.
Biofen gel is indicated in the symptomatic local treatment of muscular or osteoarticular pains, of rheumatic or traumatic origin (sprains, dislocations, lumbar pains, minor traumas of tendons, ligaments, etc.).

Contraindications:
Do not use Biofen gel:
- if you are allergic to ibuprofen or any of the other components of this medicine.

Precautions:
Before using Biofen gel, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.
Do not use Biofen gel if you are in the last 4 months of pregnancy.

Driving vehicles and using machines:
Biofen gel does not influence the ability to drive vehicles or use machines.

Mode of administration:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

For cutaneous use only.
Apply Biofen gel to the painful area, massage gently until complete absorption.
Do not use Biofen gel for more than 2 weeks, unless your doctor recommends it.

Adults and adolescents over 15 years of age:
The recommended dose for one application is about 2-3 g of Biofen gel, repeating, if necessary, 3 to 4 times a day.

Children and adolescents under the age of 15:
Do not use Biofen gel in children and adolescents under 15 years of age.

Composition:
- The active substance is ibuprofen. One gram of gel contains 50 mg of ibuprofen.
- The other components are: hypromellose, sodium hydroxide, isopropyl alcohol, benzyl alcohol, purified water.
