We only use a stove to cook rice. I am so sure that the rice will not be overcooked or overcooked.

I was looking for a small compact rice cooker for two people. I don't just use it to cook rice. For hummus, chickpeas cook quickly in it. This is a problem on the stove because the water will drain quickly and burn. It's also great for cooking other legumes and side dishes. I'm still testing it for steaming vegetables, although I can't quite fit in the steamer basket. Cleaning the non-stick pan is very easy. The real downside is that the cooking time of the programs is preset, but I assume this is only adjustable on the more expensive machines. Once you get the hang of handling it with more food, it's a very small helper in the kitchen. I haven't tried the low sugar feature yet, but that's not why I bought it, more because of the size and design.
