Vagisan Ointment Protector for skin prone to irritation in the external intimate area

Vagisan Unguent Protector is recommended if there is a tendency to irritate the skin in the external intimate area due to bodily excretions (e.g. urine), sports activities or frictional effects (when skin rubs against skin).

• Forms a water-repellent film/protective layer on the skin
• Prevents skin irritations in the external genital area and buttocks
• Protects the external intimate area from irritants (eg urine, secretions, sweat) and friction
• Soothes irritated and red skin
• Contains identical natural substances to those also found in oats and chamomile, which have a soothing effect on the skin
• Contains natural ginger extract, which can counteract skin irritations

Waxes and oils of vegetable origin

Free of mineral oil, silicones and mineral particles such as zinc oxide

Recommendation for use:

A thin layer of ointment is applied and spread over the frequently affected portions of the external genital area. A pea-sized amount is sufficient for the external genital area and anal area.

The ointment can be applied 1-2 times a day or more frequently if necessary. Special application is recommended

• AFTER washing

• AFTER using toilet paper

• around the anus BEFORE and AFTER defecation

• BEFORE sports activities

Vagisan Protective Ointment can be used in the external genital area and during menstruation.

Warnings:

Vagisan Protective Ointment should not be used shortly before sexual intercourse when using latex condoms, as the breaking strength of the latex may be affected by the ointment.

If symptoms – such as itching, burning, pain or inflammation – persist and do not improve after using Vagisan Protective Ointment, you should contact your gynecologist.

A minimal oil leak from the tube does not represent a quality defect; this is a product characteristic caused by the addition of nourishing oils.
