The Rehabiq lumbar support effectively relieves pain in the back and lumbar region, but also prevents pain in these areas. It is an ergonomically shaped cylinder that maintains the natural curvature of the spine in the lumbar region of the back, thus significantly reducing the high pressure exerted on the intervertebral discs during prolonged sitting.

Pain in the lower back, in the lumbar region, is very often caused by incorrect posture during sitting, when the nerve roots or soft tissues are irritated. The intervertebral discs must bear much more pressure during prolonged sitting than when standing or walking. Incorrect posture, in which people often spend several hours a day, is therefore a very common cause of back pain or makes it worse in the long term.

The lumbar support cover is made of 100% cotton with antibacterial and hydrophobic treatment using titanium dioxide, silver chloride and a hydrophobic component. These properties are confirmed by the TZU certificate of compliance with EN ISO 20743:2014 (determination of antibacterial effect) and EN ISO 4920:2013 (determination of surface wetting resistance by the scratch method). The filling is made of PU foam with OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certificate (testing for harmful substances). The PU foam used even meets the ecological requirements of this standard for children's products, which have a strict rating.

Instructions for use

• Attach the lumbar support with an elastic band to the back of the chair or armchair so that it does not move and stays firmly in place when you sit
• Sit on a chair or armchair as close to the backrest as possible
• Lean forward slightly and place the lumbar support lengthwise across the width of your back at approximately waist height
• Lean back slowly and lean against the backrest so that the lumbar support keeps your back arched in the lumbar region throughout the session

• Remove the foam roller from the packaging before washing
• Use regular cleaning agents for cleaning
• The recommended temperature for washing the backrest cover in an automatic washing machine is 40°C, the maximum temperature for cleaning is 60°C
• When ironing the backrest cover, do not exceed the temperature of 200°C
• This product is not flame retardant, do not use in direct contact with an open flame
