Properties:
- Silymarin, through its antioxidant action, can help protect the cell membranes of the liver cells against free radicals and hepato-toxic substances (alcohol, toxic chemicals/carbon tetrachloride, heavy metals).

- Silymarin intervenes in the production of enzymes involved in protein synthesis, supporting the regeneration processes of the damaged ones and the production of new liver cells.

- Phosphatidylcholine is a vital substance for body cells. At birth and in the first three years of life, the concentration of phosphatidylcholine in cell membranes reaches 90%. Later it decreases and reaches only 10% in the case of elderly people. That's why specialists say that a constant supply of phosphatidylcholine would slow down the processes of cellular degradation. From phosphatidicoline, the body synthesizes choline, a vitamin of the B complex, present in every cell of the liver. Therefore, an optimal intake of phosphatidylcholine can contribute to maintaining the normal function of the liver - the detoxification center of the body. Without choline, fat accumulates in the liver and blocks its function. People with choline deficiency have liver and kidney dysfunction. Dry hydroalcoholic extract from the fruits of the Armurariu - (Silybum marianum), corresponding to 1000 mg of the Armurariu fruits - 250 mg, Epikuron (with a content of 24% Phosphatidylcholine) - 100 mg.
