Properties:
EFFECOL 3350 EPSILON HEALTH is a medical laxative device that, through osmotic action, favors medical transit naturally. It is not absorbed and does not ferment in the stomach, does not irritate the mucous membrane and is eliminated through feces. EFFECOL 3350 EPSILON HEALTH is especially indicated in situations of chronic constipation and occasional intestinal disorders. Due to its affinity for water, EFFECOL 3350 EPSILON HEALTH makes the stool softer, facilitating evacuation without causing cramps or abdominal pain and without leading to urgent needs. Its efficiency does not decrease with time.

Composition:
Each sachet contains 13.125g of Macrogol 3350. Excipients: silicon dioxide, flavors, sodium saccharin.

Administration method:
Adults and children over 12 years: 1 sachet (13.3 g) 1-3 times a day. In case of prolonged use, it is possible to reduce the dose to 1-2 sachets per day. Open the sachet and dilute the contents in 125 ml (about 1 glass of plain water).

Contraindications:
Do not administer EFFECOL 3350 EPSILON HEALTH in case of:
- Intestinal stenosis
- Intestinal perforation
- Inflammatory bowel diseases (eg Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis)
Do not administer in case of intestinal obstruction

Since the effects during pregnancy and breastfeeding have not been studied, it is recommended to take EFFECOL 3350 EPSILON HEALTH only when absolutely necessary, on the recommendation of the doctor.

No dose adjustment is necessary in patients with renal insufficiency. The duration of treatment with EFFECOL 3350 EPSILON HEALTH should not exceed 2 weeks. If necessary, the treatment can be extended. Prolonged use may be necessary in case of refractory and/or chronic constipation. This constipation can be caused by pain relievers (opioids) and treatment for Parkinson's disease (anticholinergics), or it can occur in diseases such as multiple sclerosis or Parkinson's, which can cause refractory constipation.

Precautions:
Do not administer the product to children under 12 years of age. Pregnant or breastfeeding women will take EFFECOL 3350 EPSILON HEALTH only after consulting a doctor. It is not recommended to exceed the recommended doses, as higher doses may lead to unexpected side effects. If the treatment lasts more than 30 days, it is recommended to stop the treatment with EFFECOL 3350 EPSILON HEALTH for at least 3-5 days. Do not administer in case of intolerance to the product. Do not administer in case of known hypersensitivity to the components and to polyethylene glycol. Each bag is single-use and must be opened only at the time of use.
