Description
Ambrobene is an expectorant with a mucolytic effect, it increases the production of mucus and at the same time thins it, supports the movement of eyelashes and thus cleans the mucous membrane of the respiratory tract, increases its resistance to infection.
Contraindications
The drug Ambrobene ® should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to ambroxol.
During pregnancy, use the drug only with the knowledge of the doctor. It is recommended to stop breastfeeding during treatment with Ambrobene® .
Dosage
Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose of Ambrobene ® is as follows:
- Adults: the first 2-3 days 3x 4 ml per day, then 2x 4 ml or 3x 2 ml per day
- Children:
- 0-2 years: 2x 1 ml per day
- 2-5 years: 3x 1 ml per day
- 6-12 years: 2-3x 2 ml per day
Warning
The medicine must not be used after the expiry date written on the package

Composition
- Active ingredient: ambroxol hydrochloride (ambroxolinium chloride) 7.5 mg in 1 ml solution = 14 drops
- Excipients: potassium sorbate, acidum hydrochloricum 25% (hydrochloric acid 25%), aqua purificata (purified water)
