Composition . Diclofenac MCC 50 mg/g: One gram of gel contains diclofenac sodium 50 mg. The other components are: Ethyl alcohol 96%, Propylene glycol, Caprilocaproyl macrogolglycerides, Hypromellose, Levomenthol, Purified water.

Therapeutic indications.

Symptomatic local treatment of:

- muscular or osteoarticular pains of rheumatic origin;

- post-operative and post-traumatic edema;

-muscular or osteoarticular pains of a traumatic nature (mild injuries of tendons, ligaments, etc.)

Doses and method of administration.

Diclofenac MCC is intended for administration on the skin.

Adults

Diclofenac MCC is administered 3-4 times a day to the affected area. The dose administered at each application varies depending on the surface of the affected area, being approximately 2 - 4 g of cream (corresponding to approximately 5 - 10 cm of cream). To absorb the cream, perform a light and prolonged massage on the painful and/or inflamed area. After each application, wash your hands carefully (except when the cream is used for arthrosis localized in the fingers).

Use in children and adolescents

Diclofenac MCC is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under the age of 14, due to the lack of data on the safety and effectiveness of administration in this age group.

Precautions.

The medicine should not be applied to mucous membranes, especially at eye level.

It should not be applied to areas with skin lesions or wounds.

The appearance of a skin rash after the application of diclofenac requires the immediate interruption of the treatment.

in the case of long-term use, it is recommended that the people applying the gel wear gloves.

Application under an occlusive dressing is not recommended.

Special warnings.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

In humans, no teratogenic effect of diclofenac has been reported, but to confirm the absence of the risk of using diclofenac during pregnancy, additional epidemiological studies are needed. consequently, the medicine is administered in the first 5 months of pregnancy only if absolutely necessary

Effects on the ability to drive vehicles and use machines

Diclofenac does not influence the ability to drive vehicles and use machines.
