Swanson ® Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a dietary supplement containing organic extra virgin olive oil. Each gel capsule contains 1000 mg of certified* cold-pressed oil, suitable for use as a supplement to the daily diet of adults.
What properties does olive oil have?
The oil obtained from olive oil is a valuable source of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids. The American brand Swanson ® formula uses oil that is a source of palmitic acid, oleic acid and linoleic acid. Oleic acid and linoleic acid are unsaturated fats, the so-called healthy fatty acids desirable in a balanced daily diet.
The recommended daily dose of Extra Virgin Olive Oil 1000 mg is only 2 gel capsules per day. A 120-pack will provide two months of supplementation with fatty acids derived from olive oil.
