Description
Ephedrine serum nasal drops 0.5%, 10 ml, Tis Farmaceutic
Read the leaflet carefully and completely before you start using this medicine, because it contains important information for you.
Always use this medicine as directed in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
Indications:
Symptomatic treatment of acute rhinitis and sinusitis, vasomotor rhinitis, edema resulting from endonasal surgery.
Composition:
One ml of nasal drops solution contains 5 mg of ephedrine hydrochloride.
Administration method:
Children over 12 years old
The usual dose is 2-3 drops, in each nostril, 2 times/day, for 3 days;
Grown ups
The usual dose is 3-4 drops, in each nostril, 3 times/day, for 4-5 days.
Contraindications:
Do not use Ephedrine Serum 5 mg/ml:
- if you are allergic to ephedrine hydrochloride or any of the other components of this medicine.
Precautions:
Before using Ephedrine Serum 15 mg/ml, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Ephedrine serum 15 mg/ml can be used during pregnancy only on the doctor's recommendation.
Ephedrine hydrochloride is excreted in breast milk. This medicine is not recommended during breastfeeding, due to the risk of adverse cardiovascular reactions (tachycardia) in the infant.
Driving vehicles and using machines:
Ephedrine serum 15 mg/ml does not influence the ability to drive vehicles or use machines.
