Description
Nasal irrigation and SEMA Protect set is a medical device intended for adults and children over 4 years of age. It unclogs and clears the nose and sinuses of excess secretion and residual mucus , thus preventing infections.
When to Use Nasal and Sinus Irrigation with the SEMA Protect Kit?
Irrigation can be used both prophylactically and in the symptomatic treatment of the nose and sinuses , mainly in the case of:
- inflammation of the nasal mucosa and sinuses,
- rhinitis of various causes;
- in nose and sinus hygiene.
The SEMA Protect kit includes an irrigator and 12 sachets of soluble sodium chloride, which is used to prepare an isotonic or hypertonic solution for rinsing the nose and sinuses.
- Hypertonic sodium chloride solution is recommended for use in nasal swelling associated with rhinitis during infection or allergy, as well as during sinusitis.
- Isotonic sodium chloride solution is intended to maintain adequate nasal hygiene and in case of inflammation of the paranasal sinuses, rhinitis, before and after surgical procedures, as well as after exposure to high concentrations of dust in the air.
The SEMA Protect design allows you to rinse your nose and sinuses in an easy and controlled way, without the need to use extra force or squeeze the bottle.
