"The soul of the earth" is the soap that hides the clean heart of the vegetable garden. From here I picked carrots, paprika and a bunch of basil and sage, a combination of special ingredients for dry skin care. Especially the carrot is the miracle ingredient for dry skin, each soap containing approx. a quarter of a carrot. Red clay, rich in trace elements, comes from the earth's vaults, which calms and refreshes the skin, restoring its radiance. Made by hand, with spring water, with the "Soul of the Earth" we managed to transform nature from the depths into a natural Deja Vu soap, with a velvety composition, a high absorption power and a tender scent of greens, which persisted long after use.

The orange-brown color is given by carrots and red clay, the reddish freckles come from the sweet paprika in the composition of the soap, added along with carrot and red clay. The intoxicating fragrance of the soap comes from the essential oils of basil and sage, added in equal amounts, towards the end of the mixing process of the ingredients. After that, the composition is poured into fir wood molds, until it hardens, and after cutting, each soap is dried on wooden shelves, until it is ready to be used.

Here's why I chose this combination of ingredients for the "Soul of the Earth" natural soap:

The carrot is known for its important content of carotene, provitamin A, with strong antioxidant and anticancer properties. Contains vitamins A, B1, B2, C, as well as mineral salts: iron (up to 7%), phosphorus, sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, arsenic, manganese, sulfur, copper, bromine and important, directly assimilable sugars (levulose and dextrose). The carrot is antiseptic, cicatrizing and anti-inflammatory, cleaning the pores, stimulating cell regeneration and hydrating the skin. Also, carrot, an ingredient in natural soaps, slows down the rate of skin aging.

The red illite clay is a delicate clay, being used in natural soaps due to its toning properties, purifying, cleansing, scarring and nourishing the skin. Clays are naturally rich in minerals such as: silicon, aluminium, magnesium, calcium, iron, phosphorus, copper, zinc, selenium, cobalt and manganese. The secret of the red clay lies in the iron oxides, which give it the blood color and which also have the property of illuminating the skin, giving it a natural tan. It is especially recommended for people with normal, dry and sensitive skin, being also called the "magic land". Clay has been used in skin care since the time of the ancient Egyptians, Greeks, Romans and Chinese, who discovered its extraordinary properties. Since then, it has been noted that it is remarkable because it restores brightness to the skin and hair, improving blood circulation and giving the face a beautiful, revitalized and velvety appearance.

Sweet paprika has an antibacterial effect, being also a rich source of silicon (very beneficial for brittle nails, damaged hair, acne-prone skin and dark-spotted skin) and having the effect of regulating blood pressure, improving blood circulation. It is a natural dye that gives the soap a faint reddish tint, but 100% natural, also giving the soap a slight exfoliating effect.

Basil is native to India and has been used in body care products for over three millennia, being considered the herb of love and fertility, as well as a true elixir of youth. The specific smell is given by the substance called camphor, a very good antiseptic. Basil contains no less than 80 nutritional and medicinal substances (iron, calcium, vitamin A, vitamin B6, magnesium and potassium), and basil essential oil preserves all these properties. The effect on the skin is a tonic and regulator, at the same time calming the nervous system with the help of the smell, being also an extraordinary aphrodisiac, invigorating the spirit and the body.

Sage, thanks to its tannin compounds, has the effect of tightening pores, purifying oily skin and toning the skin. It is also astringent, antifungal, antiseptic, antibacterial, antiviral and antimicrobial, eliminating toxins from the pores.
