Demodex causes inflammation of the sebaceous gland or hair follicle, preventing sebum secretion. Symptoms include: local fever, inflammation, pain and abscess formation. It is possible to feel a slight itching of the skin in the places where demodex mites live, especially when they actively penetrate the follicle or sebaceous gland. Contributes to the formation of blackheads and blackheads. Demodex feces cause allergies and irritation of the sebaceous glands. Demodex can be identified by microscopic examination of comedones or entire hair follicles. . It is transmitted by dust, by direct contact with an infected person and by using the same cosmetic utensils, towels and clothes, demodicosis often occurs in the case of skin diseases: in particular, acne (30%) and rosacea (95%).
