XOS and GOS are soluble dietary fibers that are not digested and absorbed in the intestine and are fermented by colonic microflora.
They are short-chain oligosaccharides, resistant to the digestion process in the upper gastrointestinal tract, with a role in the selective stimulation of the growth of beneficial cells in the intestinal microbiota.
Galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) represent one of the most studied classes of oligosaccharides.

Properties:

• helps to develop and improve the effects of bifidobacteria and lactobacilli (fermentation of PreticX™, XOS and GOS in the colon produces short-chain fatty acids (acetic, propionic, butyric, lactic) which are a source of energy for colon cells and beneficial bacteria);
• contributes to reducing the development of pathogens in the digestive tract – bacteriophage effect (reduces colonic pH and produces substances with an inhibitory effect on pathogens);
• helps to reduce the adhesion of pathogens to the intestinal mucosa and their passage into the bloodstream;
• helps regulate intestinal transit;
• contributes to improving the absorption of nutrients;
• helps develop gut-associated lymphoid tissue (GALT) that stores immune cells;
• helps reduce allergic reactions and food intolerances;
• helps to pass toxins produced by pathogens into the bloodstream (stabilizes the intestinal mucosa, increases IgA).

Composition per 3 tablets:

XOS Complex (PreticX™) (providing 980mg xylo-oligosaccharides)(soluble fiber) - 1400 mg, GOS (galacto-oligosaccharides)(soluble fiber) - 1000 mg.

Administration method:

3 tablets/day or according to the specialist consultant's recommendation.
