Artelac Rebalance contains important components found naturally in the eye and tears, including sodium hyaluronate, an effective moisturizer that brings together water, nutrients and purifying ions (such as potassium, magnesium, sodium and calcium) to the surface of the eye ensuring maximum hydration and calming down

Artelac Rebalance contains vitamin B12, a well-known antioxidant, which supports additional protection on the ocular surface.

Vitamin B12 gives Artelac Rebalance its pink color, which quickly disappears after rinsing.

It does not stain clothing or contact lenses.

Artelac Rebalance is designed with two substances (sodium hyaluronate and PEG 8000) designed to increase the duration of the calm state.

Artelac Rebalance is hypotonic and soothes the eye by helping to restore the osmotic balance of the tear film and the ocular surface.

Artelac Rebalance includes an innovative preservative substance (called Oxyd) that disappears into the natural components of tears (oxygen, water and salt) upon contact with the surface of the eye.

Thus, Artelac Rebalance does not keep the preservative on the surface of the eye. Artelac Rebalance is easy to use, well tolerated and safe.

Characteristics:

Artelac Rebalance is the most suitable product for soothing and reducing persistent dry eye symptoms caused by chronic tear deficiency. Chronic tear deficiency can be caused by a number of factors including inflammation and dysfunction of the lacrimal gland, eyelids, and sensory deficits and/or poor tear quality. If one or more of these factors compromise your tears, the result is an imbalance of the tear film and a cascade of unpleasant signs and symptoms, including:

• inflammation of the surface of the eyes,
• redness,
• burning sensation,
• dryness sensitivity to light,
• the feeling of fatigue, sand in the eyes and pain, which, if left untreated, can lead to further inflammation and damage to the cornea.

Also, some medications (such as pills, antihistamines, beta-blockers, antispasmodics, diuretics), certain diseases, and preservatives in some eye drops (such as benzalkonium chloride, thiomersal) can play a significant role in causing eye dryness and corneal lesions.

Because of the complex nature of lacrimal dysfunction, treatments are limited; however, Artelac Rebalance is designed with multiple components to provide long-lasting dry eye relief by supplementing the natural tear film with essential components for proper functioning.

Composition:

Artelac Rebalance contains 0.15% hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate), 0.5% polyethylene glycol 8000 (PEG 8000), potassium chloride, calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, sodium chloride, vitamin B12, sterile water, boric acid and Oxyd ( a mild preservative that turns into water, oxygen and salt on the surface of the eye).

Purpose of use: Lubricant for eyes and moistening of contact lenses.

Administration:

The treatment of dry eye conditions requires an individual regimen that depends on the severity and intensity of the symptoms.

Put one drop of Artelac Rebalance in the eye 3 to 5 times a day or more often if necessary.
