Paracetamol Accord 500 mg effervescent tablets contain paracetamol, which belongs to a group of medicines called analgesics and antipyretics. Paracetamol Accord is used to treat mild to moderate pain and/or fever, i.e. fever associated with colds, headache, toothache, menstrual pain, muscle or joint pain.

Composition:

The active substance is paracetamol. Each effervescent tablet contains paracetamol 500 mg.

Mode of administration:

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not
sure.

The recommended dose is:

Adults and adolescents weighing more than 50 kg (over 15 years):
1-2 tablets (500 mg-1 g) every 4 to 6 hours as needed.
In general, it is not necessary to exceed 3 g of paracetamol per day (6 tablets in 24 hours).
The maximum dose is 8 tablets (4 g) in 24 hours.

Children:
Doses for children and adolescents should be determined according to body weight and the appropriate pharmaceutical forms should be used. The information on children's age in relation to body weight, given below, is only indicative.

Children weighing more than 40 kg (over 12 years):
One tablet (500 mg) every 4-6 hours, 3 to 4 times in 24 hours. The maximum dose is 5 tablets (2.5 g) in 24 hours. The interval between doses should always be at least 4 hours.
You should talk to a doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 3 days of treatment.
