Indications:
Papaverina Arena is part of the group of drugs used for the treatment of intestinal functional disorders.
Papaverine Arena 50 mg is used in the treatment of muscle spasms in the intestine, bile or ureter. It is also used to relieve menstrual pain.
Papaverine Arena 50 mg is indicated in cerebral and peripheral circulatory disorders.

Composition:
- The active substance is papaverine hydrochloride. Each tablet contains papaverine hydrochloride 50 mg.
- The other components are: corn starch, lactose monohydrate, polyvidone K 30, talc, magnesium stearate.

Mode of administration:
The usual dose recommended for adults is 100 mg papaverine hydrochloride (2 tablets Papaverine Arena 50 mg), 2 - 4 times a day.

Contraindications:
Do not take Papaverine Arena 50 mg
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to papaverine hydrochloride or to any of the other components of Papaverine Arena 50 mg.
- if you have serious heart conditions, such as atrio-ventricular block
- if you have very low blood pressure (marked hypotension)
- if you have increased pressure inside the skull (intracranial hypertension).
- if you take sulfonamides or levodopa at the same time

Precautions:
Take special care when taking Papaverine Arena 50 mg
- if you have heart problems (rapid heartbeat)
- if you have glaucoma
- if you have prostate adenoma
- if you are elderly and prone to chronic constipation
Caution is required because this drug can induce dependence in the case of drug abuse.
