Always use this medicine as directed in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.

Indications:
PADUDEN Rapid Forte is used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of:
- mild to moderate pains such as headaches, migraines, toothaches, dysmenorrhea, muscle pains, back pains, rheumatic pains,
- fever,
- fever and cold and flu symptoms.
For rheumatic pain, the medicine should be used only on the doctor's recommendation.
PADUDEN Rapid Forte is indicated for use in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age and weighing at least 40 kg.

Administration method:
This medicine is for short-term use only. You should take the lowest dose for the shortest period of time necessary to relieve symptoms.
Use in adults and adolescents with body weight over 40 kg (12 years or over):
- Take 1 tablet with water, up to three times a day, as needed.
- Leave an interval of at least six hours between doses.
- Do not take more than three tablets (1200 mg of ibuprofen) in 24 hours.
Children and adolescents:
Do not administer this medicine to children under 12 years of age and adolescents weighing less than 40 kg.
PADUDEN Rapid Forte has a median tear line on one face. The score line is only to help you break the tablet if you have difficulty swallowing it whole.
Duration of treatment:
If in children and adolescents between 12 and 18 years of age this medicine is needed for more than 3 days or if the symptoms worsen, the doctor should be consulted.
In adults, a doctor should be consulted if symptoms persist or worsen or if the use of this medicine is needed for more than 5 days to treat pain and more than 3 days to treat migraine or fever.

Contraindications:
Do not take PADUDEN Rapid Forte:
- if you are allergic to ibuprofen, acetylsalicylic acid or other painkillers, or to any of the other components of this medicine,
- if you have had breathing difficulties, asthma, runny nose, swelling or hives after using acetylsalicylic acid or similar painkillers (NSAIDs),
- if you have (or have had two or more episodes of) gastric/duodenal ulcer or haemorrhage,
- if you have had gastrointestinal bleeding or gastrointestinal perforation, related to previous use of NSAIDs,
- if you have severe heart failure, severe liver failure or severe kidney failure,
- if you have blood formation disorders of unspecified cause,
- if you are severely dehydrated (caused by vomiting, diarrhea or insufficient fluid intake),
- if you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy,
- if you are a teenager weighing under 40 kg or under 12 years of age.

Precautions:
Before taking PADUDEN Rapid Forte, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, fertility and breast-feeding:

• If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
• Do not take this medicine if you are pregnant in the last 3 months of pregnancy. Avoid using this medicine during the first 6 months of pregnancy, unless your doctor advises otherwise.
• Ibuprofen and its decomposition products pass into breast milk only in small quantities.
• This medicine can be taken during breastfeeding, provided that it is used at the recommended dose and for the shortest possible period of time.
• PADUDEN Rapid Forte belongs to a group of medicines that can affect fertility in women. This effect is reversible upon discontinuation of treatment.
