Aliness DHA+D3 is a source of 100% natural omega-3 acids, in an accessible form of soft capsules, containing the patented formula of DHA ORIGINS® algae oil.

Each Alness DHA+D3 capsule provides 300 mg of essential omega-3 acids in the form of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and 2000 IU of natural vitamin D3.

What are omega-3 fatty acids?

OMEGA-3 acids is a common name for a group of compounds belonging to the essential unsaturated fatty acids (EFAs).

OMEGA-3 acids are...

• ESSENTIAL – because, unlike saturated fatty acids, our body cannot produce them on its own, but they are required at several levels of its functioning. Therefore, they must be provided in adequate amounts in food.
• UNSATURATED – which means that the molecules of these acids contain at least one double bond between the carbon atoms in the carbon chain. The suffix "3" means that the last such double bond is located at the third carbon atom from the end of the chain.

It is obtained exclusively from sustainable cultures, in which algae multiply in a closed circuit, without having a negative impact on the natural environment. The entire production process – from algae cultivation to the extraction process – takes place in Europe.

DHA ORIGINS® oil is produced by extraction from specially selected strains of Schizochytrium sp microalgae, naturally rich in DHA. The production process consists only of physical extraction and purification. The oil is not subjected to chemicals or any chemical processes, including fatty acid recombination reactions, as is the case with many other highly concentrated sources of DHA available on the market. The high concentration of DHA results exclusively from the natural DHA content of the algae Schizochytrium sp.
