Obesimed is a medical device for treating overweight. It absorbs large amounts of water, thus forming a natural substance that fills the stomach. This is how the feeling of satiety appears.

Action:

• Obesimed treats mild to severe overweight in adults and children at least 10 years of age
• The use of Obesimed prevents food excesses, supports a balanced diet and leads to substantial weight loss. The active ingredient of Obesimed absorbs large amounts of water and forms a natural substance that fills the stomach. This gives the impression of fullness, contributing to the feeling of satiety during the meal and after the meal
• Obesimed slows down the passage of food through the stomach by forming a colloidal mass with a viscous consistency. This (viscous mass) contributes to the feeling of satiety in the stomach, thus preventing extreme overweight and facilitating the adoption of another eating style
• The product also reduces cholesterol content and relieves constipation. The active ingredient of Obesimed is a natural fiber that the body does not absorb or digest
• Obesimed is a class II medical device.

Composition:

The product is obtained from vegetable ingredients: OMTEC 19®, potato starch, hypromellose (E464), sunflower oil, titanium dioxide (E171).

Administration method:

• Obesimed should not be used for more than 30 days in a treatment period
• After a 4-day break, the treatment can be resumed
• Swallow the capsule whole
• During the weight loss period with Obesimed, the daily diet must be supplemented with a vitamin and mineral preparation from A to Z
• Adults: 2 capsules 3 times a day, 1 hour before meals, taken with 2 large glasses of water (± 500 ml).
• Children aged at least 10 years: 2 capsules 2-3 times a day, 1 hour before meals, taken with 2 large glasses of water (± 500 ml)
• Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Warnings:

• This product does not contain allergens
• The product is suitable for vegetarians
• Obesimed should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to one or more of the ingredients
• If you do not know if you are allowed to use Obesimed and/or if you can use it in combination with another medicine, consult your doctor or pharmacist
• Careful! Do not open the capsule before swallowing
• Keep the product out of the reach of small children
• Use by children is allowed only under the strict supervision of adults.

Side effects:

• Obesimed is well tolerated and has few side effects
• Following the use of Obesimed, minor gastric and intestinal disturbances may occur, such as mild diarrhoea, belching and flatulence. These side effects usually go away after a few days
• If the problems persist for more than 3 days, consult your doctor.

Interactions with other drugs:

• Obesimed lowers blood glucose levels. Therefore, it is not recommended to use together with other food supplements/medicines that have a comparable hypoglycemic effect
• Oral medications should be taken 1 hour before or 4 hours after using Obesimed.

Administration during pregnancy/breastfeeding:

Losing weight is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, because any harmful substances released from the adipose tissue can be transmitted to the child. Therefore, the use of Obesimed is not recommended.
