Nonflatin, 80 mg, 20 softgels, Biofarm

Indications:
NONFLATIN 80 mg soft capsules contain simethicone which belongs to a class of drugs for functional intestinal disorders. Simethicone disintegrates gas bubbles accumulated in the stomach and intestines.
The gases released from this process can then be eliminated naturally.
NONFLATIN 80 mg soft capsules is indicated:
- in the symptomatic treatment of gastrointestinal disorders induced by the excessive accumulation of
- gas in the intestine, for example, meteorism, flatulence;
- for the preparation of abdominal examinations for diagnostic purposes, such as: radiography,
- ultrasound.
The medicine is indicated for children from 6 years old, adolescents and adults.

Contraindications:
Do not take Nonflatin:
- if you are allergic to simethicone or any of the other components of this medicine.

Precautions:
Before taking Nonflatin, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.

As a rule, simethicone can be used without reservations during pregnancy and breastfeeding, because it is excreted from the intestine unchanged and is not absorbed in the body.
However, the total duration of administration should not exceed three days and should be followed by a free interval of 14 days.

Driving vehicles and using machines:
NONFLATIN does not influence the ability to drive vehicles or use machines.

Administration method:
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Gastrointestinal disorders caused by the accumulation of intestinal gases:
Adults and adolescents: the usual recommended dose is 80 mg simethicone (1 NONFLATIN soft capsule), administered orally, 3-4 times a day.

Children aged 6-14 years: the usual recommended dose is 80 mg simethicone (1 NONFLATIN soft capsule), administered orally, 1-2 times a day.

Administration method:
NONFLATIN is taken with a meal, after a meal or at bedtime.

Duration of treatment:
NONFLATIN is administered until the discomfort subsides, but not for more than 30 consecutive days.

Preparation for diagnostic examinations of the abdomen:
The usual recommended dose is 240 mg of simethicone per day (1 soft capsule of NONFLATIN 3 times a day on the day before the examination) and 80 mg of simethicone (1 soft capsule of NONFLATIN) in the morning of the day of the examination.
