Blepha EyeBag reusable thermal eye mask, 1 piece, Laboratoires Théa

Properties:
- this product is a medical device;
- treats meibomian gland dysfunction* (MGD) and blepharitis;
- provides comfort and relieves symptoms of dry eyes associated with MGD (MGD is the main cause of dry eyes) and other associated eye conditions such as squint or chalazion (chalazion);
- can also relieve discomfort related to contact lenses worn by patients suffering from dry eyes;
- can be used in the microwave;
- through its warming action, the Blepha EyeBag contributes to a healthy eye by helping to release blocked lipids and allowing them to spread over the surface of the eye. Doing so reduces water evaporation to keep the eyes hydrated.

Way of ussage:
No special training is required to use the Blepha EyeBag.
If you wear contact lenses or prescription glasses, always remove them before using the Blepha EyeBag.
Thoroughly wash your hands, face, eyelids and remove make-up before using the Blepha EyeBag.
Dosage: For the first 2 weeks, use the Blepha EyeBag twice a day, morning and evening, for 5 to 10 minutes each time.
After the first 2 weeks, it will be used 3 to 4 times a week, but you can adjust the frequency of use according to the severity of your symptoms.
Before using the Blepha EyeBag, make sure it is free of defects.
The Blepha EyeBag should only be heated by a responsible adult.
Remove the Blepha EyeBag from the box and place it on a clean, dry, microwave-safe plate. Always make sure the bowl or plate you are using is completely clean as any small food residue can become very hot and these 'hot spots' can cause small burns in the Blepha EyeBag material.
Place the Blepha EyeBag in the microwave as described above and heat according to the table below:

Over 750 W 30 seconds
750W and below 40 seconds
Attention: if the microwave oven is higher than 1000w, you may need to reduce the time.
Reheat only from room temperature.
Further heating a Blepha EyeBag that is already hot can be dangerous and lead to overheating. Allow the Blepha EyeBag to cool completely before reheating.
Make sure you only set 30 seconds, and not 30 minutes!
Stay near the microwave while it heats up.
Do not use the metal grill supplied with some microwave ovens as it may burn the Blepha EyeBag.
Shake the Blepha EyeBag to evenly spread the flaxseed inside the mask and help the heat spread.
Check that the Blepha EyeBag is comfortably warm, but not too hot, before placing it over closed eyelids.
Carefully check the temperature on the gray (silk) side by touching the Blepha EyeBag with your wrist.
If it's too hot, wait a few minutes and check the temperature again before applying it to your eyes.
When the temperature is comfortably warm, lie on your back and apply the mask to your closed eyes.
Use both sides depending on your preference.
The black side will be cooler and you may want to switch to the silk side during the 10 minutes.
Relax with the Blepha EyeBag applied for 5 to 10 minutes.
Remove the Blepha EyeBag from the eye.
It is normal to notice redness of the skin after use due to the heating effect of the mask.
Immediately after heating, massage closed eyelids to release the oil from the meibomian glands.
Repeat this process several times for about 30 seconds.
You can also clean your eyelids with an eyelid cleanser after using the Blepha EyeBag and perform topical massage.
Always put the Blepha EyeBag back in the box after use to keep the mask clean, dry and safe.
Each microwave heating minimizes the amount of bacteria on the Blepha EyeBag.

Composition:
Blepha EyeBag is a handmade and patented reusable eye mask made of natural silk and cotton, filled with untreated flax (linseed).
It does not contain any other additives or plastic.
The Blepha EyeBag is also environmentally friendly as the cardboard box and leaflet are biodegradable and recyclable.

Before using the Blepha EyeBag, make sure it is free of defects.
Be sure to use a properly functioning microwave oven to heat the Blepha EyeBag.
Each Blepha EyeBag is to be used by one person only.
To prevent cross-contamination, do not share the use of the Blepha EyeBag with more than one person.
