The phytoactive complex in the product stimulates bile secretion, water and electrolyte secretion and inhibits their absorption in the large intestine, thus stimulating intestinal peristalsis. Contributes to the regulation of intestinal transit (slow transit acute/chronic form, or associated with hemorrhoidal conditions). It is helpful for pre-operative preparation; in weight loss programs.

Laxofort - Composition:

senna leaf powder (Sennae folium pulvis) 0.030g/cps;

fennel fruit powder (Foeniculi fructus pulvis) 0.020g/cps;

chicory root powder (Cichorii radix pulvis) 0.070g/cps;

wheat bran powder 0.150g/cps.

The active substances in senna leaves belong to the group of anthracene-side laxatives whose mechanism of action consists in inducing an active secretion of water and electrolytes in the intestinal lumen and inhibiting their absorption in the large intestine, thus stimulating intestinal peristalsis. Fennel contains active principles with spasmolytic action, but also slightly laxative. Chicory root has a cholecystokinetic action, favoring the elimination of bile, by stimulating the contractions of the gallbladder, thus potentiating the laxative action of the product. Wheat bran restores the balance of plant fibers in the body, bringing a low caloric intake; they have a very good action in slimming belts (inhibits the feeling of hunger), but also laxative, through an indirect mechanism. The product contributes to the regulation of intestinal transit, is helpful in weight loss programs, for pre-operative preparation, as well as in the case of constipation associated with hemorrhoids.

Laxofort – Use:

1 – 2cps x 3/day, before meals, with a glass of Pi water or plain water, until comfort is restored.

Do not administer to children under 6 years of age, pregnant or breastfeeding women, patients with intestinal obstructions, paralytic ileus or undiagnosed abdominal ailments.
