Royal jelly is the secretion product of the hypopharyngeal and mandibular glands of young bees (nurse bees) intended to feed the queen of the colony and the larvae in their first 3 days of development. Known as a true "cocktail" of group B vitamins, royal jelly is also defined as a hyperconcentrated protein gel in which free amino acids, proteins and enzymes, nucleic acids are found in abundance, to which macro and trace elements are added.

In the product formula, native royal jelly is embedded in glycocol, an amino acid with an important role in maintaining the general state of health of the body. Its main function is proteogenic (it is credited with approx. 30% of collagen synthesis), being also necessary in the biosynthesis of nucleic acids, bile acids, etc. Like the royal jelly in whose composition it is found, glycocol helps the absorption of calcium in the body, delays degenerative processes and fulfills an important role in the process of regulating carbohydrate metabolism.
