Indications:
Herbion ivy pills is a herbal medicine, used as an expectorant in productive cough in adults, adolescents and children over 6 years of age.

Contraindications:
Do not take Herbion ivy:
- if you are allergic to ivy leaf extract, to other plants in the Araliaceae family (ivy) or to any of the other components of this medicine.

Precautions:
Before using Herbion ivy, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Herbion ivy is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding, as there is insufficient data on the use of ivy leaf extract in pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Driving vehicles and using machines:
No studies on the effects on the ability to drive vehicles or use machines have been performed.

Administration method:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The usual dose for adults, the elderly and adolescents over 12 years of age is 1 tablet three times a day.

Use in children:
The usual dose for children aged between 6 and 11 years is 1 tablet twice a day.

Dissolve the tablets in your mouth. Do not take the pills immediately before or during meals.
Drink plenty of water or other warm, non-caffeinated beverages while taking Herbion ivy.

Composition:
- The active substance is the dry ivy leaf extract. Each pill contains 35 mg dry ivy leaf extract (Hedera helix L., folium) (5-7.5:1). Extraction solvent: ethyl alcohol 30% (m/m).
- The other ingredients are isomalt (E953), citric acid (E330), natural caramel flavor (propylene glycol (E1520)), natural citrus flavor (butylhydroxyanisole (E320)), sucralose (E955) and peppermint oil.
