Description
What is HemaGel?
Current practice and clinical studies have shown that a moist environment significantly accelerates the healing process and promotes cell division in the wound. At the same time, it maintains a stable temperature in the wound, which is very important for quality healing.
Why use HemaGel for wound healing?
- It creates an optimal pH in the wound and thus favors healing
- Reduces wound pain during dressings
- Prevents wounds from drying out and crusting
- It chemically binds oxygen radicals that appear during inflammatory processes
- It acts on the wound and absorbs the secretion from the wound
- Supports wound closure with scarring
- Proven gel structure prevents release of gel particles into the wound with subsequent irritation (does not dry)
- Convenient and simple application
Wet curing method
As a result of biochemical processes, free oxygen radicals are formed in the lower part of the wound, which multiply uncontrollably. By applying HemaGel to the wound, you immediately prevent infection from entering the wound. Apply HemaGel to the wound in a very thin layer of 1-2 mm with a slight overlap on the healthy skin. HemaGel captures oxygen radicals and creates a barrier against infection, optimizing pH, temperature and moisture in the wound.
How to proceed when using the gel
Clean the wound from mechanical dirt, e.g. dust particles, remnants of previous treatment materials, which could later irritate and damage the wound.
Open the tube with the twist cap and apply a small amount of the gel all over the base of the wound.
The gel adheres to the base of the wound and gradually absorbs secretions and other fluids from the wound. The effect of the gel is manifested by swelling.
What makes HemaGel special?
The fundamental difference from other available products is that the effects of HemaGel do not depend on the amount of substance absorbed. The acceleration of healing with HemaGel is exclusively due to its chemical structure, which creates ideal conditions in the wound immediately after application. The acceleration of healing is therefore not caused by the addition of an active substance to the wound, but by the elimination of factors that complicate wound healing. The body's perfect reparative processes thus take place without negative external influences and therefore faster. A characteristic feature of HemaGel is that it is not absorbed, but remains elastic on the wound and moves with the surrounding healthy skin. Since HemaGel remains on the surface and does not release water from its structure, it does not cause maceration of the wound even with long-term use.
Expiry period
Apply HemaGel to the wound for a maximum of 30 days, in case of application longer than 30 days, consult the doctor. Use by the date indicated on the package.
