Description
Main product description
Hydrophilic gel for the treatment of superficial skin wounds The gel is composed of a copolymer of 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate, containing polymer-bound sterically protected amines, macrogol and purified water (aqua purificata).
Moist wound healing. Creates a barrier that prevents infection from entering the wound. Absorbs free radicals and reactive oxygen radicals from the wound, prevents inflammatory processes.
• The wound is cleaned of mechanical dirt, e.g. dust particles, remnants of previous treatment materials, which could later irritate and damage the wound. The gel adheres to the base of the wound and gradually absorbs secretions and other fluids from the wound.• The wound is covered with a non-absorbent material (for example, greaseproof gauze available at the pharmacy) and then secured with a dressing or a square of gauze and a patch. Light lesions after application of the gel are covered with a patch with a cushion • The effect of the gel is manifested by swelling. The unique technology of the gel prevents it from sticking to the wound and thus allows very easy, painless removal by gentle rubbing or rinsing • Dressing is done after 12 - 48 hours. Always according to the condition of the wound and the drainage through the secondary dressing or as directed by the nurse.
Attention: In case of adverse reactions (increased pain, redness, etc.), stop the treatment and contact the attending physician. Protect yourself from children! For external use only. Do not use internally! Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the tube. Return unused or expired product to the pharmacy. Use in children, pregnant and lactating women is recommended after consulting a doctor. Apply the product to the wound for a maximum of 30 days. Consult a doctor for use longer than 30 days. Close the tube carefully after each use.
