HEDELIX, 10 effervescent tablets, Krewel Meuselbach

Indications:
Hedelix effervescent tablets is a herbal medicine used as an expectorant in case of cough
productive.

Composition:
The active substance is dry ivy leaf extract.
Each effervescent tablet contains 50 mg dry extract of Hedera helix L., folium (ivy leaves)(4-8:1), extraction solvent: ethanol 30% (m/m)

Administration method:
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Unless the doctor prescribes otherwise, the recommended dose is:
- Adolescents aged 12 and over, adults and the elderly must take one effervescent tablet (corresponding to 50 mg of dry ivy leaf extract) twice a day (morning and evening)
- Children between the ages of 6 and 11 should take half an effervescent tablet (corresponding to 25 mg of dry ivy leaf extract) twice a day (morning and evening).
The effervescent tablet is dissolved in half a glass of water and drunk after a meal.

Contraindications:
Do not take Hedelix effervescent tablets:
- if you are allergic to ivy, plants belonging to the araliaceae family, such as Schefflera, Panax ginseng
or Eleutherococcus senticosus, menthol or any of the other components of this medicine.

Precautions:
Before using Hedelix, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Safety during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been established. In the absence of sufficient data, use during
pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended.

Driving vehicles and using machines:
No studies on the effect on the ability to drive and use machines have been performed.
