Pon-emo Infant shower gel, 250 ml, Vectem
Pon-Emo Infantil shower gel is another version of Pon-Emo with pH 5.6, enriched with a lipid ingredient and containing mandelic acid as a mild acidifying and antiseptic agent.
Its formula is adapted to the hygiene of babies, small children and even premature babies.
It helps to remove milk crusts.
The skin of infants is more sensitive than that of adults and the immune defense system is not yet well developed.
The natural hydrolipid layer of the skin is still poorly represented, and the skin's pH is not acidic enough for good self-defense.
Thus, the skin of infants is exposed to peeling, blistering and has a weak resistance to the aggressions produced by soaps, detergents, trauma, contact with urine, infections, temperature variations, maceration, sun, etc.
The lipid mantle produced by the skin of newborns disappears quickly, and infants and children have a low lipid production, which can cause skin disorders typical of dry skin.
Mandelic acid is bacteriostatic, avoiding bacterial proliferation and limiting the production of ammonia diverted from the urine.
Infant Pon-Emo for children can also be used by adults for skin and hair hygiene.
All Pon-Emo products have the same properties and indications.
Using one or the other is just a matter of personal preference.
As a suggestion, it is recommended to use the Pon-Emo product as a shampoo for oily hair, and Pon-Emo Collagen for dry hair; Pon-Emo Infantil when a more emollient and acidic composition (pH 5.6) is needed or desired.

- It does not contain synthetic chemicals, but biological ones.
- It has excellent skin and eye tolerance and very mild antiseptic properties.
