Description
Gaviscon ® mint flavored tablet is an easy-to-use, chewable, mint-flavored tablet medicine. A medicine indicated for the treatment of symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux, including excessive belching, heartburn and indigestion, which may occur especially after meals or during pregnancy, as well as in patients with symptoms associated with reflux esophagitis.
The ingredients of Gaviscon ® Tab are alginate, sodium bicarbonate and calcium carbonate. Gaviscon ® tablets create a protective layer that remains on the surface of the gastric contents. It prevents the reflux of acidic gastric contents from the stomach, which in turn reduces pain and discomfort in the throat and mouth, called heartburn.
