Description
Galvenox Veno is a medicine in the form of capsules. It contains the active substance - calcium dobesilate monohydrate, which acts on the capillary walls.
Galvenox Veno capsules are indicated for the symptomatic treatment of chronic venous insufficiency. Typical symptoms include varicose veins, swelling, pain, cramps and a feeling of heaviness in the legs and skin changes due to blood stasis. The drug can also be used in the symptomatic treatment of hemorrhoids.
How do Galvenox Veno capsules work for chronic venous insufficiency?
Galvenox Veno due to the presence of the active substance:
- reduces the permeability of the capillary walls and their fragility,
- affects the acceleration of collagen synthesis, which is an important structural component of arterial walls,
- has anti-aggregation properties, improves peripheral venous circulation,
- improves lymphatic drainage, reducing swelling.
Galvenox Veno with calcium dobesilate can be used in adults. A large pack contains 60 capsules, and the full treatment usually lasts from a few weeks to a few months.
