Frebini Energy Drink with banana flavor is a food for special medical purposes in liquid form for oral administration. It is suitable for children over 1 year of age, especially for children who are malnourished or at risk of malnutrition, who have an increased need for energy, e.g.
Both adults struggling with serious illnesses, for example cancer, or various neurological diseases, as well as children and adolescents, are at risk of malnutrition. Treatment, especially long-term treatment, may cause reluctance to eat in a young patient. An emaciated patient has no desire to eat, which in turn leads to nutritional deficiencies and as a result further weakens him. Decreased appetite can also result from the medications used, or it can be the result of stress from having to stay in hospital or from the disease itself.
Frebini Energy Drink is a complete diet, rich in energy (1.5 kcal/ml). It can be the only and exclusive source of food or it can be used as a food supplement. It contains taurine, carnitine, inositol and all the vitamins and minerals necessary for the correct development of the child. Each provides up to 300 kcal, which, depending on the child's age, can constitute up to 20% of the daily requirement.
Frebini Energy Drink is clinically lactose free. Does not contain gluten or glucose syrup. It can be used safely even in children with known intolerance. The liquid form is very convenient to use. It tastes best chilled. It should be drunk slowly.
