Fervex Phyto ® Spray with Ivy and Blackcurrant is a viscous, hypertonic solution intended for the treatment of sore throats in adults and children over 12 years of age. When sprayed on the surface of the throat , it creates an osmotically active and resistant protective film that mechanically draws hypotonic fluid from the deep parts of the throat. The strong and continuous outward flow of the liquid causes the contaminants present on the surface of the throat to be dislodged and washed away, including bacteria, free viral particles, dead cells and floating protein particles.
Fervex Phyto ® Spray acts as an immediate solution for cleaning the surface of the throat , which stimulates mucosal regeneration and protective mechanisms. The hypertonic, osmotically active film exerts a local, mechanical effect without being absorbed into the body.
