Description
Felogel ® Max is a medicine in gel form with analgesic, anti-swelling and anti-inflammatory effects. The active substance is diclofenac, which belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
When to use Felogel ® Max 23.2 mg/g gel?
Felogel Max, 23.2 mg/g in gel is used to relieve pain, swelling and inflammation in many painful conditions involving the joints and muscles. It is indicated for use:
- in adults and adolescents from the age of 14 years for the local symptomatic relief of pain, swelling and inflammation in case of:
- soft tissue damage, damage to tendons, ligaments and muscles, for example from sprains, strains and bruises and back pain (sports injuries);
- limited soft tissue forms: tendinitis (eg tennis elbow), bursitis, glenohumeral shoulder syndrome and periarthritis
- in adults:
- in the symptomatic relief of pain in limited forms of degenerative joint diseases, such as osteoarthritis of the peripheral joints and spine.
The medicine Felogel ® Max gel should be used by rubbing on the skin. The formula is characterized by increased penetration and impact on deep inflamed tissues. The gel should be rubbed into the painful area and allowed to dry.
The required amount of medicine depends on the size of the painful area. The maximum daily dose of the drug is 8 g, and the tube contains 120 g of diclofenac analgesic gel.
