Cyclodynon, 30 film-coated tablets, Bionorica

Indications:
Cyclodynon is a herbal medicine used to treat premenstrual syndrome (symptoms that occur in the days before the monthly menstrual cycle) in adult women over 18 years of age.

Contraindications:
Do not take Cyclodynon:
- if you are allergic to the dry extract of the fruit of the elderberry or to any of the other components of this medicine.

Precautions:
Before taking Cyclodynon, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding:
There is no reason for use during pregnancy.
Cyclodynon is not recommended during pregnancy. Due to the lack of adequate data, use during breastfeeding is not recommended.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

Driving vehicles and using machines:
No studies on the effect on the ability to drive and use machines have been performed. To date, there is no evidence that the use of Cyclodynon affects the ability to drive and use machines. However, in patients who experience dizziness, the ability to drive and use machines may be impaired.

Administration method:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as advised by your doctor or pharmacist. Talk to your doctor or
pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose for adult women over 18 years of age is 1 film-coated tablet once a day.

Swallow the film-coated tablet with a sufficient amount of liquid (eg a glass of water). Do not chew tablets.
To obtain an optimal effect of the treatment, it is recommended to use continuously during 3 months (and during menstruation).

If symptoms persist after continuous use for a period of three months, a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted.

Children and adolescents:
There is no relevant recommendation for use in girls before puberty. Administration in girls and adolescents under 18 years of age is not recommended, as there are insufficient adequate data (see section 2).

Special groups of patients:
No data are available for dosing instructions in renal/hepatic impairment.
Talk to your doctor before taking Cyclodynon if you have kidney/hepatic impairment.

Composition:
One film-coated tablet contains 20 mg of Vitex agnus castus L., fructus extract (as dry extract) (7-11:1). Extraction solvent: ethanol 70% (v/v).
The other components are:
Povidone 30, silicon dioxide colloidal anhydrous, potato starch, lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate (vegetable), Opadry amb II (polyvinyl alcohol, talc, titanium dioxide (E171), glyceryl monocaprylocaprate and lauryl sulfate of sodium).
