Aliness Chrom GTF is an organic source of chromium naturally bound in the structures of the yeast Sacharomyces cervisiae. Due to its natural form, GTF chromium is easily recognized by the body and is highly bioavailable. Studies have shown that chromium in yeast has a bioavailability comparable to organic chromium salts such as chromium picolinate (considered one of the best absorbable sources of chromium) and about 10 times greater than inorganic forms such as chromium chloride .

What is GTF?

Glucose tolerance factor (GTF) is a chemical compound found naturally in the tissues and cells of our body. Its main function is to maintain proper glucose metabolism. It combines with insulin to transport glucose from the blood to the body's cells.

Chromium is an important element of the GTF molecule - it is a compound consisting of trivalent chromium and minerals, vitamins and amino acids. Healthy people supplement chromium through the diet, which is then converted to GTF to support glucose metabolism. However, diseases and adverse factors such as stress, obesity, alcoholism and aging of the body can cause the body to lose GTF through excessive excretion in the urine, resulting in a deficiency of this important ingredient.

When the concentration of GTF in our body decreases, glucose cannot be efficiently transported into the cells. Due to the high concentration of glucose in the blood, the kidneys cannot reabsorb this nutrient back into the bloodstream. This causes excess glucose to be present in the urine. The cause of this condition can be a too small amount of chromium or an impaired absorption of chromium.

For better absorption and more efficient use, the chromium contained in Alness Chrom GTF is in the form of a chromium complex with amino acids and vitamins naturally present in yeast.

How is GTF Aness Chrome created?

During the carefully controlled fermentation, the yeast is fed specific amounts of minerals. Under natural conditions, yeast grows and interacts with chromium, incorporating it into cellular structures. After a specified time, the yeast is collected, washed with purified water, pasteurized and dried. In this way, we obtain a unique product that provides not only highly bioavailable chromium, but also a full spectrum of other valuable nutrients - proteins and amino acids, fiber, vitamins and minerals, and glutathione.
