Indications:
Coldfexin/Coldfexin FORTE contains paracetamol, an analgesic that relieves pain and reduces fever, and phenylephrine, a decongestant that relieves nasal congestion.

Coldfexin/Coldfexin FORTE is used to relieve flu and cold symptoms, including relief of pain, headache, stuffy nose and fever in adults and adolescents over 16 years of age and weighing over 50 kg.

Use Coldfexin/Coldfexin FORTE only if you have flu or cold associated with stuffy nose.
If you do not have a stuffy nose, use products containing only paracetamol.

If after 3 days of treatment you do not feel better or if you feel worse, you should consult a doctor.

Contraindications:
Do not use Coldfexin/Coldfexin FORTE:
- if you are allergic to paracetamol and phenylephrine hydrochloride or to any of the other components of this medicine.

Precautions:
Before using Coldfexin/Coldfexin FORTE, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding:
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine if you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby.
Coldfexin/Coldfexin FORTE is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Driving vehicles and using machines:
There have been no reports of the influence of Coldfexin/Coldfexin FORTE on your ability to drive or use machines.

Administration method:
Always take this medicine as directed in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if not
you sure.

The recommended dose is:

Adults and children over 16 years of age:
Adults and children over 16 years of age weighing more than 50 kg - One sachet The dose can be repeated every 4-6 hours
Do not take more than 4 sachets in 24 hours.

Please note that higher than recommended doses may cause an increased risk of very serious liver damage.

Administration method:
Oral administration after dissolution in water.

Dissolve the contents of the sachet in a small cup (125 ml) of hot, but not boiling, water. Stir until dissolved and drink the colorless, lemon-flavored solution.

Dissolve the contents of the sachet in a cup (250 ml) of hot, but not boiling, water. Stir until dissolved and drink the colorless, lemon-flavored solution.

Use in children and adolescents:
Coldfexin/Coldfexin FORTE is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 16 years of age.

Seniors:
There are no recommendations for dose modification in the elderly.
If symptoms persist for more than 3 days or worsen, contact your doctor.

Composition:
- The active substances are paracetamol and phenylephrine hydrochloride.
- Each sachet contains paracetamol 500 mg and phenylephrine hydrochloride 12.2 mg (equivalent to phenylephrine base 10.0 mg)
- Each sachet contains paracetamol 1000 mg and phenylephrine hydrochloride 12.2 mg (equivalent to phenylephrine base 10.0 mg)
- The other ingredients are ascorbic acid, sugar, aspartame (E 951), lemon flavor (contains natural lemon oils, flavors of natural substances, maltodextrin, mannitol (E 421), gluconolactone, gum arabic, sorbitol (E420), carbon dioxide anhydrous colloidal silicon and α-tocopherol (E 307)), sodium saccharin, anhydrous colloidal silicon dioxide, citric acid, sodium citrate.
