Properties:
It is a strong laxative, which is used in acute or chronic constipation, being recommended for accelerating intestinal transit, eliminates intestinal parasites and favors digestion.

Contribute to:
- acceleration of intestinal transit, which can be associated with anthelmintic medication.

Ingredients:
Buckthorn (Rhamnus frangula) - bark.

Administration method:
Decoction:
- for the moderate acceleration of intestinal transit - a decoction of the plant is prepared in the following way: a teaspoon with the tip of the plant is added to a cup of boiling water, boiled for 15 minutes, then left covered for another 15 minutes, after which strain and drink on an empty stomach. One cup of the decoction is administered in the evening, at bedtime, in a single dose (once a day), or 2 cups of the decoction per day, in the morning and in the evening;
- for a strong and rapid acceleration of the intestinal transit - prepare a decoction of the plant in the following way: add a spoon with the tip of the plant to a cup of boiling water, boil for 15 minutes, then leave covered for another 15 minutes, after which it is strained and drunk on an empty stomach. One cup of the decoction is administered in the evening, in a single dose (once a day).
In the case of intestinal worms, the decoction of the plant is administered, following the strong and rapid acceleration of the intestinal transit, after the anthelmintic medication.

Contraindications:
Diarrhea, intestinal obstruction, inflammatory conditions of the intestine (Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis), pregnancy, breastfeeding, children under 12 years, intolerance to crusin.

Precautions:
It is not administered in prolonged courses, due to the establishment of the habit. Administration is carried out over periods of 14 days, with breaks of at least 10 days between courses.
Adverse reactions: may occur: abdominal discomfort, intestinal colic, diarrhea; the urine may be colored red.
