Description
Dosage:
- Capsules: 1-2 capsules per day, preferably between meals. Drink lots of water. Half dose for children.
- Powder: Mix 1-2 teaspoons in a glass of water (approx. 250-300ml). Children can also be given still water - the charcoal is allowed to settle to the bottom, activated carbon molecules are also contained in the still water.
Period of use
When cleaning (detoxifying) the body, 1-2 capsules 2 times a day for 1 month. In the case of intestinal discomfort, the dose and duration of use are individual. For excessive flatulence (with signs of diarrhea), adults can take 1-4 capsules (1-2 teaspoons of powder) several times a day (children half the dose), always with plenty of water. Does not absorb: carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, ethane, ethylene, hydrogen, methane, less effective on alcohol, common salt and iron.
Other than black discoloration of the stool, no adverse side effects are known. Caution, Carbofit activated charcoal can also adsorb vital medications (eg digitalis), so consult your doctor first if you are taking such medications. We recommend that you observe an interval of at least 2-4 hours between taking Carbofit and taking other medicines.
