Research shows that the definition of fever changes with age, for example a temperature considered normal in a 4-year-old child may be considered febrile in a newborn. The ThermoScan ^® 7+ thermometer allows you to enter the age of the person whose temperature will be measured, thus ensuring the correct interpretation of the reading.
