Homeopathy is a system of alternative medicine. Homeopathic remedies are prepared by successive dilution. After each dilution, the resulting solution is mixed by vigorous shaking. Dilution usually continues until nothing of the original substance remains in solution. The name 9 CH determines the degree of dilution of the substance from which the medicine was made. In the homeopathic medicine Arnica montana 9 CH, the original substance was diluted 9 times to one hundredth (C) according to the Hahnemann method (H) and dynamized nine times. A 4 g package contains approx. 80 granules.
