This nutritional supplement contains a balanced combination of important vitamins (folic acid, vitamin D, zinc) and minerals (iodine, iron) for women during pregnancy planning until the end of breastfeeding .

The daily dose (2 capsules) contains 400 μg of the active form of folic acid (calcium L-methylfolate). Folic acid is a B vitamin (vitamin B9), whose increased intake is especially important before a planned pregnancy and in the first weeks of pregnancy. In the body, it turns into a biologically active substance - the so-called folic acid.

Folate contributes to the growth of germinal tissues during pregnancy and plays a role in the process of cell division.

The main ingredients

Zinc contributes to fertility and proper reproductive function. Folic acid and its supplement increase folic acid levels in pregnant women. Low levels of folic acid in pregnant women are a risk factor for neural tube defects in the developing fetus. Vitamin D contributes to the normal level of calcium in the blood and to the maintenance of the normal condition of bones and teeth. Vitamin C helps reduce exhaustion and fatigue and increases iron absorption. Iodine contributes to the correct formation of thyroid hormones and the proper functioning of the thyroid gland. Iron contributes to the correct formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin.

The target population is women of reproductive age, and a beneficial effect is obtained with the daily supplemental use of folic acid in the amount of 400 μg at least one month before conception and up to three months after.
