Astha 15 Adult spray is a filmogenic, viscous, hypertonic solution intended for the treatment of sore throat; When it is sprayed on the surface of the neck, SWP Astha 15 Adult spray forms an active and resistant osmotic film, which mechanically attracts the hypotonic fluid from the deep parts of the neck. This strong and continuous outward flow of liquid detaches and drains the contaminants present on the surface of the throat, including bacteria, free virus particles, dead cells and free-floating protein molecules;

This product acts as an instant cleaning solution. Cleaning the surface of the throat stimulates the repair and protection of the mucosa;

SWP Astha 15 Adult spray acts locally, mechanically, without being absorbed into the body;

The clinical results show a rapid and notable reduction in throat pain, irritation, redness and inflammation, as well as whitish deposits in the throat. Reducing bacterial contamination helps minimize the need for antibiotics.

Ingredients:

Glycerol (74.94%), Water, Honey, Glycocyanidin-a (derived from extracts of Vitis vinifera (grape seeds) and Sambucus nigra fruits).

Administration method:

Children > 12 years and adults.
4-5 puffs every 30 minutes, in the first 2 hours.
4-5 puffs 3-4 times a day, until complete recovery.
Gently shake the spray container, remove the cap and, before the first use, prime the pump by pressing the sprayer once or twice. point the tip of the container opening as shown in the illustration below and press the sprayer by applying pressure with your finger to release the product on the upper part of the neck. Apply 4-5 sprays to form a thin layer of product on the surface of the neck. The product being viscous, some drops may remain on the tip of the sprayer; wipe the tip with an absorbent paper and replace the cap after each use.

Precautions / Warnings:

This product is for local (throat) use only. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Read the leaflet carefully before use and follow the instructions. Wash your hands before use. To reduce the risk of cross-infection, each spray should only be used by one patient. Spray the product only on the upper part of the neck and avoid inhalation while spraying. Avoid eating or drinking for 15-30 minutes after applying the product.
The product is not intended to be used for more than 7 consecutive days. If there is no improvement and/or worsening of symptoms and/or associated fever during treatment, ask your pharmacist for advice or consult your doctor. SWP Astha 15 Adult spray is not toxic if swallowed. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact, rinse well with water. Do not use after the expiration date, more than 30 days after the first use or if the spray is damaged

Keep at room temperature. Do not refrigerate or freeze.

interaction
Due to the composition of the product and the mechanical and topical mode of action, the possibility of interaction with any systemic treatment is unlikely. For reasons of effectiveness, do not apply any other oral topical treatment 15 minutes before or after using this product.
Contraindications
Check the composition of the product and do not use if you are sensitive or allergic to any of the ingredients (honey may contain traces of pollen). Do not use this product in children under 12 years of age or in patients suffering from asthma or severe respiratory diseases. Although all the ingredients used for the preparation of this product are derived from food ingredients and used in very small quantities, in the absence of sufficient specific data, it is not recommended to use this product during pregnancy and breastfeeding without a doctor's recommendation.
Side effects
If you notice any type of allergic reaction immediately after applying the product (eg: swelling, persistent strong irritation/burning sensation), stop using the product, rinse your throat thoroughly with fresh clean water and consult a doctor, if necessary. If you notice any serious incidents due to the use of this product, please inform the manufacturer/distributor and the competent national authorities immediately.
