Aspirin Complex Hot Drink 500 mg/30 mg granules for oral suspension, 10 sachets, Bayer

• ASPIRIN COMPLEX HOT DRINK has pain-relieving, anti-inflammatory, fever-reducing and nasal congestion properties.
• ASPIRIN COMPLEX HOT DRINK contains two active substances: acetylsalicylic acid and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride.
• ASPIRIN COMPLEX HOT DRINK is indicated in the symptomatic treatment of nasal/sinus congestion (rhinosinusitis), accompanied by pain and fever, associated with colds and/or flu-like symptoms.

Administration method:

Oral administration.

Adults and adolescents (over 16 years of age): pour the contents of 1-2 sachets of ASPIRIN COMPLEX HOT DRINK into a glass of hot, but not boiling, water and mix well. The oral suspension is allowed to cool to a suitable temperature before administration. Drink the entire contents of the glass immediately. Attention: the granules do not dissolve completely. If necessary, the recommended dose can be repeated every 4-8 hours.

The total daily dose should not exceed 6 sachets (equivalent to 3000 mg acetylsalicylic acid/180 mg pseudoephedrine hydrochloride).

Do not take this medicine for more than 3 days without talking to your doctor. This medicine is administered according to the leaflet and according to the recommendations of the doctor and the pharmacist.

Active ingredients: Each sachet contains acetylsalicylic acid 500 mg, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 30 mg.

Precautions:

Do not use ASPIRIN COMPLEX HOT DRINK:

• if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to acetylsalicylic acid, to pseudoephedrine or to any of the other components of this medicine
• if you have a history of bronchial asthma induced by the administration of salicylates or substances with a similar action (especially non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs)
• if you have a stomach ulcer
• if you have an increased bleeding tendency
• if you have liver, kidney or heart problems
• if you are taking at the same time (or if you have taken in the last two weeks) an antidepressant medicine that contains a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI)

Consult your doctor before use : if you use other medicines containing acetylsalicylic acid, if you use other analgesic, anti-rheumatic or anti-inflammatory medicines, if you have a history of ulcers or bleeding in the stomach or intestines, or inflammation of the stomach lining (gastritis), if you have diseases liver, kidney, heart or blood circulation problems, if you have bronchial asthma, various allergic reactions or if you are going to have a surgical intervention or if you are taking other medicines at the same time.

This medicine should not be administered to children and adolescents under the age of 16, without a doctor's recommendation.

This medicine should not be used during pregnancy or if you are breastfeeding. Do not use large doses of ASPIRIN HOT DRINK for long periods of time without a doctor's recommendation.

This medicine contains 2 g of sugar per sachet (equivalent to 0.17 carbohydrate units). This should be taken into account in patients with diabetes.
