Description
ActiFolin 1 mg is a food supplement that contains a unique complex source of folates: folic acid and an active form, better absorbable, of the latest 4th generation folic acid, which is characterized by better solubility and bioavailability higher compared to 3rd generation Folate.
The product is intended for adults with increased demand for folates, including folic acid. Especially for: menopausal women, women planning their reproductive years and pregnant women, as well as all women and men who require an increased folate intake.
What properties does folic acid have?
Folates are involved in proper blood production and cell division and help maintain proper homocysteine metabolism. They also help to reduce the feeling of tiredness and fatigue and support the proper functioning of the immune system.
Folate plays a role in the proper growth of maternal tissues during pregnancy. Supplemental folic acid intake increases maternal folic acid levels. Low levels of maternal folic acid are a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the developing fetus. The beneficial effect occurs with an additional daily intake of 400 μg of folic acid for at least one month before conception and a maximum of three months after conception.
A pack of ActiFolin 60 tablets will last two months of daily use.
